About Me

I have been a fossil collector since I was 6 years old.  I am obsessed with fossil and recent marine invertebrates.  I collect fossils and also attend the Tucson Gem, Mineral and Fossil Show every year.

I am also an avid scuba diver and create abstract art from my underwater photos.  Check out my brand new blog  www.MetallicReef.com

Thanks for your interest. Moroccan echinoids are faked sometimes. The common specimens are alright, but look out for multiple specimens of a slab of matrix. Echinoids with spines are what to really look out for. The echinoid is genuine (as are the spines), but the spines and the echinoid are not from the same individual. The spines are often glued on to make the echinoid look like complete with all the spines are in place but they are found separately.
